Florida Comic Cons spent the weekend at Florida SuperCon 2021 in Miami Beach on September 11-12, and it was sensational! This was our first time attending Florida SuperCon. And it will not be our last. Here’s why.
The con-vibe was constantly strong at Florida SuperCon 2021
The “con-vibe” is what we call the general feeling of the con collective — attendees, vendors, artists and guests — at an event. Enthusiasm, inspiration, awe, excitement and laughter are good yardsticks to measure the con-vibe.
Most conventions have a vibe that ebbs and flows, but Florida SuperCon 2021 had a strong con-vibe all the time. Florida Comic Cons was there from mid-morning till late afternoon both weekend days (tough job, and we get to do it). And we saw a strong con-vibe all weekend long!
The cosplay talent was strong, too
Florida SuperCon 2021 was steeped in talented cosplayers. Florida Comic Cons found cosplayers portraying easily recognizable characters as well as those that are more obscure.
Anime cosplay at Florida SuperCon 2021 kept us smiling all weekend
What’s better than walking around all day among throngs of anime cosplayers? Nothing. That’s why Florida SuperCon 2021 was the best place in the universe over the weekend.

It wouldn’t be a con without Star Wars cosplay… and a furry
There were not as many Star Wars cosplayers at Florida SuperCon 2021 as we are accustomed to seeing at other cons (frowny face). But what we saw was outstanding. (and we LOVE the clear face shields that allow full view of a cosplayer’s face and makeup.) In addition, we saw a furry!

Seasonal issues focus on cosplayers and the characters they have chosen to portray. Cosplayer photos and interviews as well as character images and backgrounds are loaded in the seasonal magazines.
