Voice actor, Chris Hackney, who voices popular characters like Illumi from Hunter x Hunter and Dimitri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is scheduled to appear at St Pete Comic Con 2023 on January 7-8. Favorite Character #1: Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd from Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a game that released in 2019. It is a strategy, role-playing game. In the game you get to choose between three separate houses: the Black Eagles, the Blue Lions, or the Golden Deer. Dimitri, who Hackney voices, is the leader of the Blue Lions. Dimitri is is the heir to the throne of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. After being the sole survivor in the tragedy of Duscur, where the entire royal family was killed except him, he is haunted visions of those that died. Dimitri is kind hearted, naïve, and sometimes a little bit too formal. His’s story as the game progresses will change depending on the route the player chooses. Dimitri makes his return in the new game Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes released in June 2022, also voiced by Hackney.

Favorite Character #2: Kamisato Ayato from Genshin Impact
Kamisato Ayato is a character in Genshin Impact, an anime styled, open world, action game. The game encourages the players to collect characters by having them roll for characters by chance with gaccha game mechanics. While the game can be free to play, players have the greatest chance of obtaining a character by making purchases. Hackney’s character, Ayato, is a recent addition to the game that uses a sword and the Hydro (water) element to fight. Ayato is the head of the Kamisato clan and the leader of the Yashiro Commission. He is serious and cunning but also has a playful side. He doesn’t like to make public appearances and is always busy, but Ayato does enjoy making time to play cards or have a “beetle battle” with another character, Arataki Itto. He is also known to be fiercely loyal and cares deeply about the well being of Inazuma.

Favorite Character #3: F. Scott Fitzgerald from Bungo Stray Dogs
F Scott Fitzgerald is from Bungo Stray Dogs. Bungo Stray Dogs is an anime where most of the characters are named after real authors from history with “superpowers” inspired by the real written works of said authors. Fitzgerald is leader of an American criminal organization called the Guild. The Guild attempts to kidnap the main character Atsushi and is defeated by the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia. Fitzgerald’s power is called the Great Fitzgerald, named to hint at the book The Great Gatsby, where the more money he spends the greater his power and strength will be.

Favorite Character #4: Pah-Chin from Tokyou Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is an anime where the main character, Takemichi, is transported exactly 12 years into the past and attempts to change the future after his middle school girlfriend is brutally murdered in by the gang he was once a part of. Pah-chin is a character in the past that Takemichi meets. He is one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman) and acts as the Captain of the third division in Toman. Pah-chin is like the brute force of the captains in Toman because he aggressively reacts to things. Pah-chin is extremely proud, and is not considered very smart. However, he is a loyal friend who will not hesitate to support or defend his friends, even if it will be detrimental to himself.

Favorite Character #5: Haruta Shigemo from Jujutsu Kaisen
Haruta Shigemo is an antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen. Jujutsi Kaison follows the story of its main character, Yuuji Itadori, and how he fits into the world of jujutsu sorcerers after eating a cursed finger that unlocks his sorcerer powers and makes him a vessel for the demon Sukuna. Eventually Geto, the major antagonist Jujutsu Kaisen, launches an attack on the school Itadori attends in an attempt to capture him. Haruto Shigemo is a part of the group Geto leads and participates in the attack. Shigemo is a powerful sorcorer, however he prioritizes his own safety and wants above everything else and will only fight when he views the opponent as weaker than himself. He also tends to act very childish and is known to exhibit glee when murdering people.

Favorite Character #6: Illumi from Hunter x Hunter
Illumi, from Hunter x Hunter, is the older brother of Killua Zoldyck, the best friend of the main protagonist Gon. Illumi grew up as the oldest child in a family of assassins. He is able to change his form by sticking pins in his body and using this ability, he infiltrates the hunter exam under the name Gittarackur and until he can confront Killua in the exam. Illumi continues to appear repeatedly as a villain. He typically exhibits very little emotion and tends to act ruthlessly to reach his goals by any means.

Favorite Character #7: Deepa from Boruto
Deepa is part of the criminal organization in Boruto called the Kara. Deepa is sadistic and battle crazed. He also loves to be destructive and go all out against his opponents. His powers include being able to control the molecular-bonding of any carbon he is exposed to, meaning he can essentially turn his body metallic into something like steel and he can manipulate raw carbon near him and turn it into shapes.

Favorite Character #8: Yuito Sumeragi from Scarlet Nexus
Hackney voices Yuito Sumeragi in both the game and the anime of Scarlet Nexus. Yuito the main protagonist and has always dreamed of joining the Other Suppression Force. He is from a prestigious family of politicians. Yuito is also optimistic and kind but stubborn. He uses an ability called psychokinesis, which allows him to throw things at enemies.
