St. Pete Comic Con

St. Pete Comic Con is a new two-day, multi-genre comic convention in St. Petersburg that features comics, anime, science fiction and fantasy talent, along with a guest roster of Florida’s top cosplayers. And the 2022 event is January 8-9 at the Coliseum in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. Follow St. Pete Comic Con on social media: Facebook and Instagram.

Guests

Guest list includes anime voice actors who portray beloved characters in cherished shows like My Hero Academia, Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog,  Fullmetal Alchemist, and Fruits Basket as well as in games like World of Warcraft: Shadlowlands.

And the con features comic artists who have worked on major titles as well as indies who are cutting the edge on the industry. The first artist announcement is the legendary Mike Grell, an artist and writer whose work includes Green Arrow The Longbow Hunters, The Warlord, Green Lantern Green Arrow, and Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes. More comic artist announcements coming soon.

In addition, Florida’s best cosplayers are appearing at St. Pete Comic Con 2022. The Guest Cosplayers — who are coming from around the state — are participating in panels, leading activities and have booths to meet and chat with attendees.

Click here for tickets. Event hours are Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Florida Comic Cons to roll-out red carpet for cosplayer photos at St. Pete Comic Con

Florida Comic Cons, a news media website that covers comic conventions and cosplayers, attends many conventions throughout the state. And they are rolling-out their red carpet to take photos of cosplayers at St. Pete Comic Con (it’s free). Come get your photo on the red carpet, which will be included in a blog on the con. Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine to publish a special edition on St. Pete Comic Con

Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine, published by Florida Comic Cons, will be at St. Pete Comic Con 2022 in search of talented cosplayers. The magazine is publishing a special edition of St. Pete Comic Con that will spotlight cosplayers as well as include feature stories on guests and artists.
