Comic conventions are everywhere, all the time, in Florida
Orlando is within a two-hour drive to nearly 30 annual comic cons. Tampa Bay is the same distance to more than 20. South Florida hosts nearly 10. North Florida has tremendous comic conventions from Pensacola to Tallahassee to Jacksonville. If you’re in Florida, chances are you’re closer to a convention than you might think!
Comic conventions in Florida rank among the largest in the nation (MEGACON Orlando draws more than 100,000 people) to the largest in the southeastern U.S. (Tampa Bay Comic Convention attracts more than 50,000 people). There are more than just large cons though. For new con-goers or people that shy away from crowds, Florida has plenty of small conventions as well.
