April 2023 issue of Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine released
The April issue of Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine, published by Florida Comic Cons, was just released. This month features an amazing cosplayer known for larger-than-life cosplay builds as well as our MegaCon Orlando 2023 recap with photos and videos. Featured Summer Convention: Metrocon
Metrocon is Florida’s largest anime convention that draws more than 10,000 fans over three days is celebrating its 20th anniversary. This year’s event, which is July 14-16 at the Tampa Convention Center, offers more than 100,000 square feet of vendors and artists, and more than 450 hours of scheduled shows and panel content that includes video game arcade, tabletop gaming, and contests. Featured Fall Convention: Anime St. Pete
Anime St. Pete is a celebration of anime and manga as well as the cosplay it inspires. Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success, drawing more than 4,000 attendees. And this year’s event — which September 30 – October 1 at the historic Coliseum in downtown St. Petersburg — could be larger with a line-up of 5 big-name anime voice actors and new activities. (announcements coming soon- follow Anime St. Pete on Instagram and Facebook). Early bird tickets on sale now starting at $20 for single day and $30 weekend pass.

Featured Winter Convention: Holiday Cosplay Tampa Bay
Our featured winter convention is the 2nd annual Holiday Cosplay Tampa Bay, which is in St. Petersburg this year at the Coliseum that has proven to be a successful venue for events like St. Pete Comic Con and Anime St. Pete.
Holiday Cosplay Tampa Bay 2023 is December 2-3 at the St. Petersburg Coliseum. And the event will feature anime voice actors, comic artists, and several of the nation’s top cosplayers as well as holiday activities and photo spaces (announcements coming soon- follow Holiday Cosplay Tampa Bay on Instagram and Facebook).
