@Darklady.cosplay is a Tampa cosplayer who brings World of Warcraft characters to life. And she is appearing at St. Pete Comic Con 2023 on January 7-8 at the Coliseum. The popular cosplayer was scheduled to appear at St. Pete Comic Con 2022, but had to reschedule due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Tickets are available for St. Pete Comic Con 2023, and early bird prices till October 1 are single day for $20, and weekend pass for $30.
She is widely known for her portrayals from World of Warcraft, having brought more than 20 characters to life (some characters with with multiple versions). And this number doesn’t include the cosplays currently being crafted.
While we share the full list below, here are two of our favorites: Sylvanas Windrunner (below left) and Ranger General Sylvanas (below right).
Why World of Warcraft?
@Darklady.cosplayrelates to the giant world with so many different characters. “I love to learn about the characters,” she said. “The characters are so incredibly detailed in who they are I find myself drawn to their stories and how they all intertwine.” And her adoration of World of Warcraft also has become a source of strength and inspiration. “Over the years I’ve fallen in love with so many characters, and I’ve found a lot of strength and inspiration from them,” she said.

@Darklady.cosplay‘s talent goes well beyond World of Warcraft. A few examples below are Ashe from Overwatch, Emma Frost from X-Men, and Zero from Drakengard. In Overwatch, she most relates to Ashe. “I kinda vibed with Widowmaker for a while and enjoyed her, but when Ashe released I fell in love,” she said, noting “I seem to gravitate towards characters like Ashe and Sylvanas.”

The talented cosplayer will be at St. Pete Comic Con 2023 on January 7-8, 2022, at the historic Coliseum located in downtown St. Petersburg. St. Pete Comic Con 2023 is a two-day, multi-genre comic convention in St. Petersburg that features comics, anime, science fiction and fantasy talent, along with a guest roster of Florida’s top cosplayers.
